Talor Tartaglia

Welcome, my name is Talor Tartaglia! My hope here is to give you a basic outlook on what the goal of this blog is. I am a counselor, who seeks to follow the one true counselor in the work that I do. I have been practicing counseling for about four years now and have loved the process of getting to know people a little better and learning how to sit with them in the midst of trouble and triumph. Often times people enter into counseling at a time in their life where they are in transition or in need of processing through something significant. This is a delicate place to meet people and those who make that step have begun the process of hard work that counseling takes.

Counseling is a place of stretching and growing. It is also a place of great comfort and hope. What makes it beautiful is that it gets to be this way because the one orchestrating what happens in the counseling room is the author of creation, the ruler of all. God is at work in the stories of his people and my goal in counseling is to walk alongside people and help them to see the ways in which God is intricately involved. To see the ways in which his love is bigger than imagined, the ways in which his comfort can bring healing, and his instruction can bring growth.

I have been so very blessed to be a part of the process. My hope with these small writings is that we begin to explore together certain topics that often come up in counseling, seeking to apply God’s wisdom to them.
